Membership ALTT requires
members to be over 18, to work within the Code of Conduct and
Disciplinary Procedures of the British Complementary Medicine
Association (BCMA), to be properly qualified by a recognised trainer in
at least one light touch therapy and to hold professional indemnity
insurance. There
are two levels of membership. Level
1 You
will belong to a professional organisation Your
details will be published in a freely available register You
will have access to special low-rate insurance You
will receive a Newsletter giving news of developments in
complementary medicine You
may add “ALTT Affiliate” after your name Level
2 As
for Level 1 above, plus You
will also be a member of BCMA Your details will
also be published in BCMA’s website and enquiries directed to them
will be diverted to you as appropriate You will be
encouraged and helped to develop or extend your skills through
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) You
may add “Member ALTT” and
“BCMA Reg.” after your name

Insurance
ALTT
cannot handle your insurance requirements for you directly because of
regulations within the insurance industry. However, we have arranged a
